Announcing New Collaboration with Ms. Neema Machege in France

We are thrilled to announce a new collaboration with Ms. Neema Machege, a devoted mother and tireless advocate for children's heart health. Living in France for many years, Neema has been a steadfast supporter of The One New Heart Tanzania since 2019. Her journey, marked by deep loss and immense love, has inspired her to make a significant difference in the lives of children in Tanzania.

Neema’s Story: I am a mother of two living children, but I have also experienced the loss of two babies. One of my losses was at nine months, and the other was a baby girl stillbirth with trisomy 18.

My gynecologist told me that Catherine-Jade’s tiny heart would not be able to withstand the challenges of life. After losing Catherine-Jade to trisomy 18, I became intimately familiar with the pain of loss, the deep ache in my chest and the emptiness that echoed through my days. Instead of succumbing to grief, I decided to channel my love for Catherine-Jade and Ezekiel into action.

I joined The One New Heart Tanzania, dedicating myself to their cause of healing the hearts of many children in Tanzania who, due to financial constraints, cannot afford heart surgeries and end up dying or suffering. Together, we organize fundraisers, reach out to medical professionals and advocate for children in need of heart treatment.

Supporting children’s heart treatment is a noble cause. Every small effort counts. By supporting children’s heart treatment, you are not only saving lives but also spreading love and hope.

In honor of her daughter, Neema has now decided to expand her efforts by forming an association in France to support our Tanzania Mega Heart Mission through various fundraising activities. This new branch will help us reach more hearts and heal more lives.
